How to get around the Peak District

The Peak District Bus Timetable 

The Peak District, Mid and South Derbyshire, North East Derbyshire bus timetables and Derbyshire Train Times give all the information you need on bus services and special money-saving tickets.

Money Saving Tickets

With a Derbyshire Wayfarer ticket you can travel through Derbyshire and the Peak District for a day on any bus, also by train (after 9.00am Monday to Friday, all day Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays). Travel to Sheffield, Leek, Macclesfield, Burton-on-Trent and Uttoxeter town centres is also included.
 
Tickets are available from Tourist Information Centres, staffed railway stations in the area and many bus drivers, at a cost of £8.30 adult, £4.15 child/senior citizen, or £13.10 for a family group (two adults and up to three children). Prices apply from 20th May 2007.
 
Travellers from Manchester can purchase the Manchester Wayfarer ticket, while the South Yorkshire Peak Explorer ticket is available for travellers from South Yorkshire.
 
If you're travelling on Sundays or Bank Holidays, ask for a Family Freedom Ticket. At just £8.00, a group of up to two adults and three children can travel on the Sunday bus network within the Peak District.
 
There's also a similar group ticket for the Hope Valley costing £3.00.
